This Moving Services Contract (“Contract”) is entered into between John & Friends, LLC (“Mover”) and the Customer (“Customer”) collectively referred to as the “Parties.”

  1. Services to be Provided Mover agrees to provide the following moving services to Customer:
  • Packing and unpacking services
  • Loading and unloading of belongings
  • Transportation of belongings to the new location
  • Furniture assembly and disassembly (if requested)
  • Any additional services as agreed upon in writing

  1. Customer’s Responsibilities Customer acknowledges and agrees to the following responsibilities:

  • Obtain necessary permits or authorizations, if required
  • Be present or appoint a representative during the moving process
  • Promptly address any concerns or issues with the Mover
  1. Mover’s Responsibilities Mover agrees to the following responsibilities:
  • Provide trained and experienced personnel to perform the moving services
  • Exercise reasonable care in handling and transporting belongings
  • Provide appropriate packing materials and equipment
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to the moving services
  • Promptly address any concerns or issues raised by the Customer
  1. Insurance Coverage Mover agrees to provide insurance coverage as required by law or as specified in a separate insurance policy. Customer acknowledges that the Mover’s liability may be limited as per the applicable insurance coverage.
  2. Termination Either Party may terminate this Contract in the event of a material breach by the other Party. Termination shall be effective upon written notice.
  3. Confidentiality Both Parties agree to keep all confidential information obtained during the provision of services confidential and shall not disclose it to any third party without prior written consent, except as required by law.
  4. Governing Law and Jurisdiction This Contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction]. Any disputes arising out of or relating to this Contract shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Insert Jurisdiction].

11.2 Waiver of Damages: Customer expressly waives any claims against Mover for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from or related to the moving services, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of business, or damage to personal property.

11.3 Insurance: Customer acknowledges that it is their responsibility to obtain appropriate insurance coverage for their belongings during the moving process. Mover may offer insurance options, but any insurance coverage provided shall be subject to the terms and conditions of the insurance policy.

11.4 Release and Indemnification: Customer agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Mover, its agents, employees, and subcontractors from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from or related to the moving services, except to the extent caused by Mover’s gross negligence or willful misconduct.
