About us
John & Friends is the intersection of John Ley and his music making friends who get together in his music studio to jam, hang out, and write songs. They are based in the Northwest Chicago suburbs and currently perform at farmers markets, coffee shops, and anywhere else they can find. Rooted in poetic storytelling, their music moves between intimate moments and familiar, communal energy—offering a welcoming soundscape for wandering, gathering, and lingering a little longer.
